The vibrational energy of the plant and its unique healing potential is infused into the water and preserved with brandy. Working with the subtle energies of the body, the essences address mental, emotional and spiritual wellness issues. WHICH ESSENCES ARE RIGHT FOR YOU? There are many ways to select essences. First, go with the ones you are drawn to magnetically. Whether you use your rational mind, emotional body or gut reactions, if you are drawn to certain bottles, they are probably appropriate for you at this time. Some stock essence manufacturers provide you with a thorough intake sheet to determine your core personality and helpful remedies to address recurring patterns. Most people will opt to connect with an intuitive healer to see through to the subconscious or core beliefs that are at play in any given situation. The healer may hear, see or know the best essences to harmonize the body's energies. They may also select remedies with a pendulum through a process called dowsing.   DOSAGE The flower essences sold in stores are generally referred to as stock bottles. They are concentrates preserved with brandy. Only a couple of drops from the stock bottles diluted into water are needed to shift energy. When you take them internally, the essences work then with the 75% of the body that is water to encourage the body to release old cellular imprints and adopt new programming. The frequency of dosage seems to be more important than the actual potency. For this reason it is a common practice to mix a customized dosage bottle containing mostly spring or distilled water and a couple of drops of each selected stock essence that matches the recipient's intentions for healing. An additional small amount of brandy may be added to a one ounce dosage bottle to preserve it. For alchohol sensitive people or pets, refrigeration may replace the need for brandy. Another dosage method is to put a couple of drops from the stock bottle into your drinking water and sip it throughout the day. Add more drops each time you refill your water. Think about the intended benefits as you drink. Some people will notice a shift right away but for most around 2 1/2 - 3 weeks after starting the remedy, they will notice new ways of being or that they haven't thought about something or reacted in an old way. It is important to notice what is new and different as this reinforces the desired patterns. Store the essences away from sunlight or electronic equipment for best results.     ANIMALS & ESSENCES   Animals love essences and are so in touch with the nature realms that they usually voice their preferred remedies right away. Frequently they will name a list of plants of gems when we begin talking and it will paint a picture of their life and current energy patterns. Some people opt to put a couple of drops into their drinking water. This is an acceptable method of treatment if you use pure drinking water, refresh and stir the drops in each day. This way you can be sure that your animal is getting the essence. You may also put a couple of drops on the body and massage it.
